Here comes Crunch Time - pray or somethin'
by KW13 inwell, my mum is going on the musuem tour this weekend.... she is going to do two different tours, one of them being the tour that will include information regarding jerusalems destruction.. please, ya know just hope or if you can pray for my mum and lets see what happens.
i don't know if i should say anything to her before she goes that would open her eyes to certain things?.
either way, depending on how this ends after a chat on her return it will be the end of my trying to help her i think, not sure.

by vitty ini know we've heard a lot of horror stories about jcs and getting disfellowshipped.........................but what is your experiences of continuing going to the meetings to be reinstated.............what did it really feel like?.
did you mind being ignored or did you understand it and take it on the chin?.................................what were your familys treatment of you during the period of having to sit on the back row????.
when i saw ppl comming in late and leaving early .....................i just knew it was wrong, wrong , wrong to treat ppl that way.. in fact i got told off for smiling at a sister who i knew genuinly wanted to come back,( the pos wife told me ) i did it out of human feelings and was then blasted.. after she got reinstated, i was the first person she came upto and introduced herself.

I have to admit I was one of those who looked down upon a dfd person - I feel so awful for doing that now. The congregation is set up to see anyone judged by the local elders (imperfect men) in their secret court, to be so cold and unloving to them, and yet thats the complete opposite to Jesus way of dealing with people. The real answer is that these dfd ones could have done some reseach and become dangerous to the WTS, so if any return after being completely humiliated, presumably they are completely under the control of the society again. For those I shunned and looked down upon when I was a 'yes' man, i'm so sorry...
CS 101 Im not being lazy,but cyber has summed up my feelings exactly!I cringe when i think of the holier than thou attitude i had towards disfellowshipped ones.I feel ashamed and embarassed for my terrible,despicable behaviour.I have apologised to a few d,fed people in my area when i have seen them..but somehow it doesnt seem enough.

"Birth" Announcement
by Abaddon ini am proud to announce the delivery of a bouncing 'baby' girl, 120 or so pounds and about 63 inches long, after an uneventful 11 hour drive.. in other words, i've "imported a daughter" (she's posted a little here under the handle abbadette).
she's sixteen now and has decided to come and live with her dad.
as this involves changing country, leaving her mum, brother, sister and friends behind, and going to school where she doesn't (yet) understand a word of the language it is (in my biased opinion) really rather brave.

The JW organization could be the best for finding women !!!!
by xbethelite ini was at bethel not long ago.
and other then the hypocrisy i saw the most beautifull women in the world all in one place.
bethel makes the miss universe pagent look silly.did i mention these women are from all over the world, bethelites can stay in other countries for cheap because they can stay in assembly halls.

I think this Guy needs to join the 21st century!Though its probably not his fault ,being involved in an antiquated,sexist and deeply chauvinistic organization as the witnesses will encourage a warped attitude to the fairer sex.Many of us had it.
The Women i was involved with whilst a jw were highly strung,deeply jealous,insecure and yes,obsessed with titles such as Elders,MS etc.Not painting everyone with a broad brush,it was just my first hand experience.
Again i blame the Religion and its anti-social unrefined ways.
Since being in the "world"i have had some great relationships and made a very close friend in 1 ex who,if i could ,would have as best Man when i get married to my Gf who incidentally is smart,lovely and sexy...but who DEFINITELY thinks for herself and says what she feels and when she wants.
No,the Jw org is imo the very WORSE place for finding a Woman.In fact the thought makes me shudder. brrrrrrrrrr.

Our congregation is buzzing..................

apparently after the dc, it was said that there may not be a convention next year and that its obvious the society knows something.
she said the whole congregation are really excited and people are making plans to pioneer this year.

Pretty memorable for me was a nice Gal took a shine to me in about 2000/01 at the V festival in Essex.Just came and spoke to me in a field between bands.
She was a cousin of Dougie from the band Travis (who were playing that year)and i went backstage with her for a bbq and views from the stage!Met the band before they went on.also met Super furry animals (welsh band)and Paul weller and Noel Gallagher.They were all very nice Chaps..just all seemed busy,busy.
Pretty Girl and oh so worldly..sadly i was still very much JW then so didnt even give her my real number.What a plonker eh
That was my tenuous link with fame lol.

Who else is living in a "Sauna"

our sauna is over....for now anyway.
The last few weeks have been hideously hot here.mid 90s with bad humidity.Rain today and a lot cooler...thank God!
Heatwave may return next week i hear.
